January 29th, 2009 - Kelly and I whisked Julie away on a birthday extravaganza - her 3rd one by us. You see, the first 2 outings were very fun, but we (Kelly and I) sucked it up by forgetting to pick up the tab for Julie. We're horrible, we know! So we figured 3rd time's a charm so we took Julie to Nakashima's for a great time. It was the best time all of us had had in a loooong time. Thanks for such a hilarious night, girls!

The ladies couldn't wait to start the night. Checkin' out the drink menu. I was the DD that night so I was happy to let the ladies endulge.

Did they ever! Kelly with her Pineapple Bomber and Birthday Girl with her Caramel Appletini. Yummy! This was the first of many for both of them. (Well not that many, maybe 2? 3?)

Kelly and I hired this ninja to keep our promise to pay for Julie, or else this time.
We clicked a few pics at the table before the food and crazy conversations started.
Kelly went outside herself today and actually ordered scallops! Here she is about to try one...
Yummy! Kelly hated them.
This pic was taken by "Creepy table guy". He was with another group and he kept talking to us and not his family. He said something about coming to Nakashima's to get tail from now on. Awkward.

The real fun started in the bathroom. I've never taken so many pics in a bathroom in my life.
Kelly hadn't either until this night.

Zank Family Xmas - Bring on the Ugly!

This weekend was the Zank family Christmas which was held up north in Pickerel. It was a great time. Matt and I headed up on Friday and left on Saturday. It doesn't sound like a lot of time to do anything fun, but we had a blast!


For dinner, we went to a bar called Cowboys and enjoyed some fish and chips from this crazy guy with a gun and a piece of bread. The fish was great! Things got a little crazier when I discovered a highlighter in my purse and started drawing tattoos on everyone under the blacklights.After the barhopping was over, we crashed at the house. Ron Jeremy is seated below with Jeano. (That's actually papa Steve, but the ugly moustache made him an instant porn star).

On Saturday, Brad and Tara joined us! Even though Tara had worked straight through the night, then hopped in the car for a 3 hour drive. she was ready to hit the open trail and go snowmobiling! Cute pic of Tara - Brad, you dork!
I would have gone snowmobiling, but I don't function very well in temperatures below 8 degrees. I went gambling instead.
Betty gave Tara some last minute tips for safe snowmobiling.

Here we go. This year's theme turned out to be ugly sweater/moustache holiday. The men really took this seriously. Here they are with their ugly moustaches before changing into their ugly sweater attire.
Boonya! What the hell! Matt CLEARLY looked the ugliest! I couldn't stop laughing and nearly peed my pants when he finished dressing in his tight turtle neck and women's Xmas sweater from Goodwill.
Papa Steve (Ron) brought a fake boob into the mix and Matt felt the need to add it to his ensemble.
Matt also pulled out his back up Ugly SweatSHIRT for the party. I personally like the sweater better.
Here we are! Happy in our ugly sweaters! The only real question - what the hell was Ron wearing???

I hate to say it, but Matt and Brad look like an ugly gay couple. Not everyone can pull off the turtleneck look - Matt can't either.

Cool Hat Dan!  

A few weeks back, we did dinner club at Sunset - very good! It wasn't the food we enjoyed the most, it was the mobster hat Dan wore that evening. This is a quick documentary in photos of Dan with his marvelous hat...

Stoppin' at the store - what do ganstas buy for beer?Bud light? Miller lite? Harps? Guinness? What will fit his image?
Ahhhh yes....
Guinness it is! Of course!
Nobody wants to mess with this "G". The cashier and bagger refuse to make eye contact.
Out the door in a flash - almost as if he robbed the place!

Hiatus - Please Stand By...

Hello! Sorry I haven't posted much - I'm on a very rigorous workout schedule to lose some poundage and frankly I've been too tired to take pics and blog. Not to worry. Kelly and I are heading into week #4 of workouts and my body should be regulated soon. I'll be back after this weekend with pics from the Ugly Sweater/Zank Christmas Extravaganza up north.
