Best for Last - Thursday, Sept. 25th

Thursday was the last Brewer game we were able to enjoy this season. As you all know, it's been a season of highs and lows. Since we bought these tickets 2 months ago, we weren't aware at that time of the gravity of this game. The Crew was still in the hunt for the Wild Card and this game would determine if they'd continue to contend. It was quite a worrisome night.

Matt was tensed up to begin with.
I was bummed that this would be my last Brewer game of the season. It was hard to enjoy the tailgating experience. Hopefully the game would raise my spirits.

Upon entering the stadium, we received a Brewer Towel, a 2009 schedule and a voucher for a FREE ticket! It was fan appreciation night. What a great way to start the game! This was our view from 9 rows off the field.
Despite the slow pace and uneventfulness of the first 7 innings, Matt and I were pumped to be in the park.

Kelly and Andy were also able to enjoy the game! Here they are from their seats (ok, it's just a random circle, but they are up there somewhere!)

After 9 innings of regular play, we were still tied 1-1 with the Pirates. Then my boy Braun strolled up to the plate with the bases loaded.

Amazingly he hit a walk off GRAND SLAM! It was the coolest thing I've ever seen!

It's been a great season. We got to at least 9 games this season and hopefully we'll get to more next season! Now they're in the PLAYOFFS baby! GO BREW CREW!
