CEC + Softball Party = Fun

Thursday, August 28, 2008

Saturday, August 16th was a beautiful day. It was the date of the 10th annual Cheese Entertainment Complex (CEC) cookout in Theresa, WI. It was also the date of the Clubbers Softball party at Kelley and Toby's house. What an action packed day!

Stanley caught wind that he was invited to go to the CEC and was ready to head out the damned door.
Here we go!
There he is...Lord Cheese - the founder of the CEC - resting and relaxing.
What??? Dan's wearing white? Dan! Is that sun on your shoulder? What a great hat!
Greg and Kelly listen intently to the argument about whether or not this is REALLY the 10th Anniversary. Greg's family graciously hosts the shindig every year.
Newlyweds Rich and Michelle chat with Max.
Peter was drinking a lot that day...
...a lot of lemonade.
Lord Cheese strikes up the pipe.
Dan decided to get up and play catch with Matt.
What form!
Oh no! Jason goes in for the block. This can only turn out badly.
Poor Dan...now his toy is broken. It can only take a woman's touch to fix it (mine, which I did fix it).
He was back at it in no time!
Amazing! Dan couldn't contain his excitement! Check out these moves!

Tony was surprised by Dan's unusual energy and willingness to move around!
Lord Cheese welcomes Bug and Bobbie!
And of course Baby Eleanor!
What a cutie!
Stanny takes a break from running like crazy.
Kerri and Phil
Volleyball time! This was Brian's strategy. What a towering form! I guess his strategy didn't work as he planned.
Chapin showed up for a little animal bonding. Maybe Brian felt the need to bond with the cows? Dan was trying his damned-est to fit himself in the shade. Damn sun!
Man did I want to get out there and rock the net!
Awww...what a cutie!
It was pretty clear that I had to take Matt out of this situation and get him to his softball party.

When we got to the softball party, they were playing H-O-R-S-E by the moonlight.Jess was all over that action! When we got there she was at H-O-R Toby chased the ball down to to keep the damn game going. Kristy and Kelley along with myself were eager spectators at the wonderful game. Everything stops when Coach Jimbo arrives - even the basketball in mid air!
